Rättviks spelmanslag was formally established in November 1944, at a folk tune in the People's Park. Today we have about 100 members, of which 40 are active.

We're playing at dance and organizes concerts both at home and around the country. A popular feature during the summer is the "Theme concert" in Rättvik Church, where we play traditional tunes or songs from particular locations in the Rättvik area. Most of the year is spent rehearsing this program.

Rehearsals are held in Folkmusikens Hus. If you would like to join and contribute to the creation of fine music, you are warmly welcome

Rättviks spelmanslag practices each Tuesday in Folkmusikens Hus in Rättvik 19.00-21.00. We welcome all to join in and play on Tuesday the exercises.
